Outrageous Bras
I found this great link to some of the most creative and fun designs for "bras." I don't know how practical or supportive (for the bustier ladies out there) any of them would be in real life, but as a costume, they could work. If I had the opportunity I would wear one, most likely the clown bra shown above.
What do you think? Which are your faves? Would you wear any of them?

Cloth Menstrual Pads...Ewww or Cool?
While surfing the web, I came across these... cloth menstrual pads that can be washed and reused. Sure, they are better for the environment than the traditional Kotex or Always sanitary napkin. However, I can't imagine wearing one all day without changing. If I did change the pad, where would I put it? In my purse?

Makeup For Women of Color
I need to update and replace most of my current supply of makeup. However, since I am considered a women of color, my options are limited.
I find that the choices in the supermarket are the most limiting. Then come drugstores. Lastly, there are individual companies that have a line of cosmetics for women of color, but only 2 or 3 shades: light, medium, dark. The cost increases as well as I move away from the supermarkets. What happens if women is in between shades (like me). Then she's screwed. I have even looked into companies like Aveda, Clinique, or Origins. However, they don't have much of a selection for foundation and powder for women of color. The selection for eyes and lips are better, but not great. Of course, I can always have custom makeup made for me. However, this is the most expensive option and I do like to eat and pay my bills.
Personally, I don't like to get my makeup from the supermarkets or the drugstores. I need to test it to see if the color and coverage is right for my skin tone. And store managers frown upon open and testing cosmetics in their stores. This leaves me with the individual companies that are expensive.
Do you have the same problems in finding makeup that works for you? Where do you get your makeup?
